With nearly 15 years’ public sector experience, Sarah is well versed in the development, management, and support of multi-disciplinary collaborations with governmental, non-governmental, and private sector organizations. As the Director of Opioid Response for the Maryland Department of Health, she oversaw the State’s multifaceted response to the opioid epidemic and lead the strategic development of policy and programmatic elements aimed at streamlining and modernizing the delivery and accessibility of behavioral and public health care services to high-risk populations. Sarah holds a BS in Political Science from the University of Oregon and an MS from the University of Maryland, College Park. As a native Oregonian, Sarah enjoys any activity that takes her and her family outdoors and is an avid foodie.
