Clinical Services Portfolio Lead
Michael Foley is our Clinical Services Portfolio Lead, bringing over 15 years of upwardly progressing healthcare experience leading large-scale quality improvement and programmatic initiatives at some of the country’s top hospitals. Mike is a registered nurse and his team-focused experience with diverse knowledge of clinical, operational, and financial aspects of healthcare provides practical and comprehensive solutions to program management and problem solving. Prior to joining Blue Water Thinking, Mike oversaw the clinical operations of a cardiovascular surgery program at Inova Fairfax Hospital, overseeing more than 90 team members made up of advanced practice providers (APPs), registered nurses (RNs), and clinical technicians. Mike earned his Master’s in Business Administration from George Washington University. In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time outdoors with his dog, hiking and exploring new trails in the Northern Virginia area, exploring local breweries and distilleries, and traveling around the world.
