Meet Matt

Matt Friedman leads our Business Optimization and Transformation Portfolio, bringing close to 20 years of experience successfully managing and delivering large business transformation programs, enterprise-wide modernization initiatives, and process improvement and reengineering efforts. Matt's ability to work closely with clients to understand their challenges and mission, paired with his in-depth experience directing, managing and leading large complex programs, provide a foundation to deliver innovative and effective business solutions. Prior to joining Blue Water Thinking, Matt has spent most of his career supporting several agencies within the DoD, DHS, and HHS. Matt earned a BS in Decision Science and Management Information Systems from George Mason University, where he was also a member of the Men’s Soccer Team. In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, shuffling them to soccer practices and games, as well being outdoors as much as possible, hiking, traveling, and keeping active.
